Location

Salt Lake City, UT - S. Pioneer Rd - Dry‑ice logistics

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $31-$34/hr.
• Referral Bonus: $1000.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday with occasional weekend, starting at 2am-5am (2-3 layovers per week, per diem provided).
• Routes: Salt Lake City and surrounding areas, Cortez, CO and Cheyenne, WY (8-14 stops per day).
• Equipment: CDL A trucks.

Responsibilities

• Safely navigate delivery vehicles to provide dry ice to customers.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment to load and unload dry ice.
• Obtain customer signatures, verify piece counts against the load manifest, and collect empty dry ice boxes for return.
• Provide customer service and share feedback with the Branch Manager to improve service.
• Conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑trip reviews of trucks per DOT and company maintenance guidelines; maintain a clean and professional environment inside the vehicle.
• Uphold all company policies, safety standards, and DOT/OSHA requirements.
• Ensure cargo stability and safety during transit.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with airbrake endorsements.
• Standard transmission licensed.
• Maintain current driver license, medical card, and endorsement.
• At least 1 year of CDL driving experience within the last 5 years or recent trucking school completion.
• No more than two traffic convictions or two at‑fault accidents in the last 3 years, or not more than one conviction and one at‑fault accident.
• No driving under the influence in the last 7 years.
• Work in a drug‑free environment.
• Ability to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with material handling equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift Certification.
• Pallet Jack Certification.
• 2 years of route driver experience.
