Job summary

Airgas is hiring a CDL A Shuttle Driver in Salt Lake City, UT. The role involves delivering dry ice, operating CDL A trucks, and navigating routes in Salt Lake City and surrounding areas.

Pay starts at $31 per hour with a range of benefits and a schedule Monday to Friday with occasional weekends, early start times, and several layovers weekly. Airgas provides medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and disability coverage, plus 401(k) with company match and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Airbrake endorsements.
• Must be able and licensed to drive a standard transmission.
• Maintain driver’s license, medical card and endorsement.
• 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or proof of trucking school completion in last 5 years.
• No more than two traffic convictions or combination of one conviction and one at-fault accident in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely navigate delivery vehicles to provide dry ice to customers.
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment to load/unload cargo.
• Obtain customer signature and ensure load manifest accuracy.
• Provide customer service and relay feedback to Branch Manager.
• Conduct pre and post trip reviews in line with DOT and company guidelines.
• Uphold company policies and safety standards including OSHA requirements.
• Ensure cargo stability and safe transport.
