Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling is seeking a Truck Driver CDL A - Route Driver in Abilene, TX. You will safely operate a Class A truck, pick up, load, transport, and deliver used tires along assigned routes as part of a two-person team.

This role requires DOT/FMCSA compliance, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and accurate documentation. We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus and hourly pay between $28 and $30 with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and FMCSA qualifications.
• Minimum age 22 years.
• DOT physical and drug/alcohol testing required.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record per DOT standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Willingness to work on customer-facing routes.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive Class A vehicle on assigned routes to remove used tires.
• Load and secure tires with Route Helper.
• Complete DOT logs and required documentation.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain clean, safe equipment.
• Communicate route status with dispatch and customers.
