Sysco Columbus is seeking delivery drivers to transport products from the warehouse to customers, delivering and unloading per invoices and company standards. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and courteous customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; completion of a tractor trailer driving school acceptable.
• Valid Class A CDL; must be insurable to operate a vehicle.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor trailer driving experience; food/beverage delivery experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from trailer by hand or hand cart in all weather according to customer specifications and company standards.
• Ensure all paperwork (logs, inspections, vehicle maintenance, and invoices) is accurate and submitted timely.
• Maintain food safety/ sanitation protocols; ensure proper temperatures and prevent cross-contamination in delivery and storage areas.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with customers through courteous service and clear communication.
