Job summary

Sysco Columbus- Sygma division is seeking a delivery driver to transport products from the warehouse to customer locations in a safe and efficient manner.

You will navigate routes, perform unloading, complete required paperwork, and ensure food safety and quality during delivery. The role includes heavy collaboration with store staff and other drivers, with training provided and pay weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent is required, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Completion of a tractor trailer driving school is accepted instead of, or in addition to, a high school diploma.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience required.
• Food and/or beverage delivery experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unloads product from trailer, by hand or with a hand cart, per customer specs and company standards.
• Ensures all required paperwork (logs, inspections, delivery reports) is completed accurately.
• Maintains food safety and sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse areas.
• Develops and maintains good relationships with customers through courteous service and clear communication.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
