Job summary

Sysco Columbus is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely transport product from the warehouse to customers, delivering and unloading according to invoices and company standards. You’ll drive a tractor trailer on a schedule that may include nights and weekends, with routes typically not exceeding 24 hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent required, plus 1 year tractor trailer driving experience.
• Completion of a tractor trailer driving school acceptable in lieu of diploma.
• Valid Class A CDL and insurability required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from trailer and deliver to stores according to invoices and standards.
• Complete paperwork per guidelines and ensure accurate invoicing and reporting.
• Maintain food safety and sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse areas.
• Build good customer relationships through courteous service and clear communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
