Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have CDL with required endorsements.
• At least 1 year driving experience or completion of FedEx Driver Development Course.
• MVR acceptable per hiring standards.
• Familiarity with DOT 391 FMC regulations.
• LCV operations qualification in specified states.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer with doubles/triples where applicable.
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Maintain accurate daily logs.
• Comply with hazardous materials regulations and procedures.
• Follow dispatch instructions and report delays or problems.
• Load and unload freight as required.
• Comply with laws and company policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
