Job summary

Schneider National is seeking an experienced intermodal driver in Wisconsin to haul automotive freight, using company-owned chassis with minimal touch. You will operate in railyards across IL, IN, MI and OH, enjoying a mix of mileage and on-duty hourly pay.

The role includes paid orientation, PTO after 6 months, holiday pay, a generous sign-on bonus and annual bonus potential. Company benefits and retirement plans are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements strongly preferred.
• Live within 50 miles of Green Bay, WI; minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Overview

• Haul automotive freight in containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• Haul freight for one customer to/from railyard to various destinations.
• 100% no-touch freight that is 90% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards within IL, IN, MI and OH.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• $12,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 50 miles of Green Bay, WI.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.
