Job summary

GFL Environmental Services seeks an Operator - Industrial Services driver to transport hazardous wastes, load and unload, and operate vacuum/box trucks per license. You will perform thorough vehicle inspections, maintain logs, and ensure safety compliance at customer sites.

Overtime and weekend work may be required. The role demands a valid CDL A, tanker endorsement, and ability to drive manual transmissions, with attention to regulatory manifests and paperwork.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper cargo handling, securement, and full compliance with safety regulations.
• Deliver products and complete all required paperwork courteously and on time.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members while keeping work sites clean and debris-free.

Job Summary

This driver will transport, remove, deliver, and collect various liquid and solid hazardous wastes from various customer sites. You will be required to load and unload trucks, with the ability to operate a variety of trucks and equipment—including vacuum trucks, box trucks, and any other equipment matching your license on site if necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport, load, and unload liquid and solid hazardous wastes.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.

Requirements

• Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 75+ lbs required.
• Overtime as required including occasional weekend work.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background screening prior to starting.
