Cheney Brothers, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Driver to support our food distribution operations in Florida. You will operate a tractor trailer or straight truck to deliver to customers, adhering to DOT regulations and ensuring timely, safe arrivals.

You will be the face of our company, building lasting relationships with customers. This role features a 6-day work week with home daily routes after training, a competitive average annual pay of $90,000, and a strong benefits package starting Day 1.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience required.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Drives tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver products to customers.
• Complies with all DOT regulations and company safety policies; conducts pre/post trip inspections.
• Performs safety checks and documents required paperwork accurately.
• Delivers orders, obtains customer signatures, and handles cash where required.
• Loads/unloads freight, secures trailers, and maintains cleanliness of equipment and working area.
