Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver in Oak Creek, WI, with a 5 pm start Sunday through Thursday. You will transport empty trailers to warehouses and return full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards, adhering to DOT regulations and safety standards.

Position requires 12 months of commercial driving, a valid CDL A with doubles endorsement, and the ability to lift 60–90 pounds. Training and safety checks are integral to the role, with opportunities for benefits and growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one.
• Able to lift 60–90 pounds and operate lift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Report safety issues and required repairs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Inspect trailer for proper loading and securing freight.
• Maintain route paperwork and dispatch readiness.
• Drive and deliver trailers per schedule.
• Perform hook/unhook procedures and secure equipment.
• Park and store tractors and trailers properly.
• Secure damaged goods and returns for clearance at base.
• Unload materials and manage waste as required.
• Record hours of service daily per regulations.
• Keep areas clean and perform related duties as assigned.
