Job summary

Oak Harbor Freight Lines, Inc. is hiring local and regional line drivers across WA, OR, ID, NV, UT, AZ, and CA to move freight safely.

Earn competitive mileage pay starting at .80 per mile plus pay for drops, fuel stops, and wait time; enjoy medical, dental, vision, 401K match, PTO, holiday pay, cell phone stipend, and home nightly on most routes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience.
• Hazmat, Tanker, and Double/Triples endorsements required at time of application.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• No doubles experience required — training provided.
• Strong communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Basic proficiency in English for reading, writing, and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer combinations between terminals or meet points.
• Navigate challenging road conditions, including inclement weather.
• Consistently meet reliability and safety standards.
• Be prepared to chain up as needed.
• Flexibility to work weekends and/or nights if required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Competitive Mileage Pay

• Experienced drivers can start at.80 per mile /$34.41 an hour.
• Paid for every drop, hook, chain, fuel stop, and wait time.
