Schneider National, Inc. is seeking an Intermodal Dedicated truck driver to haul automotive freight in containers on company-owned chassis.

You’ll operate 90% drop‑and‑hook, with 100% no‑touch freight, delivering to railyards across IL, IN, MI and OH, under a weekly pay model that recently increased. Experience of 3 months or more with a Class A CDL is required, with HazMat and tanker endorsements strongly preferred.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 50 miles of Gary, IN.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Overview

• Haul freight for one customer to/from railyard to various destinations.

• 100% no-touch freight that is 90% drop-and-hook.

• Drive in and out of railyards within IL, IN, MI and OH.

Pay and bonus potential

• Pay recently increased by up to $.03 per mile.

• Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.

• $20,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.

• Paid orientation.

• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.

• Annual bonus: Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications
