Job summary

Schneider National's Intermodal division is hiring drivers to haul automotive freight in containers on company-owned chassis. 100% no-touch freight, mostly drop-and-hook, driving in and out of railyards across IL, IN, MI and OH.

Expect pay increases, mileage pay plus hourly on duty, $12,000 sign-on paid over first year, paid orientation, PTO after 6 months, annual bonus up to 3%, and strong benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401(k) with match.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 50 miles of Cedar Rapids, IA.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

• Haul freight for one customer to/from railyard to various destinations.
• 100% no-touch freight that is 90% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards within IL, IN, MI and OH.

Pay and bonus potential

• Pay recently increased by up to $.03 per mile.
• Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• $12,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications
