Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) is seeking drivers to safely operate tank trailers, transporting raw milk from farms to processing plants in Utah. You will follow dispatch schedules, perform quality control samples, monitor loading, and minimize idle time while adhering to DOT rules and company policies.

Requirements include a Class A CDL with tanker and doubles/triples endorsements, no automatic restrictions, 1 year CDL A driving, and ability to read/write English.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A CDL in state of residence.
• Must have, or be able to obtain, a tanker endorsement and doubles/triples endorsement.
• No automatic restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT, DFA policies.
• Some strenuous work involving lifting, connecting hoses, disconnecting hoses.
• Ladder climbing to access the top of tank trailers and farm tanks.
• Hooking and unhooking trucks and trailers.
• Maintain positive communications with producers, customers, and employees.
• Represents DFA positively and professionally.
