Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) is seeking a professional truck driver to safely transport raw milk from farms or depots to processing plants. You will operate tank trailers in compliance with DOT, DFA policies, and safety rules while following dispatch instructions.

The role requires a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement and at least 1 year of driving experience. You will perform quality checks, minimize idle time, and maintain clear communication with producers and DFA staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT procedures, rules and requirements.
• Ability to read/write English and basic math.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT, DFA policies and safety rules.
• Perform strenuous tasks such as lifting and connecting hoses.
• Climb ladders to access tank trailers and farm tanks.
• Hook and unhook trucks and trailers as needed.
• Maintain positive communications with producers, customers, and employees.
• Represent DFA professionally in all interactions.
