Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) is seeking qualified drivers to operate tank trailers and transport raw milk from farms to processing plants. Responsibilities include driving safely per DOT/regulations, collecting quality samples, and minimizing idle time while conserving fuel.

The role requires CDL A with tanker endorsement and hydraulics experience. Compensation ranges from $28 to $30 per hour with shift differential, weekend premium, and OT eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A CDL in state of residence.
• Must have, or be able to obtain, a tanker endorsement and doubles/triples endorsement.
• No automatic restrictions

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT, DFA policies.
• Perform tasks like lifting and connecting hoses.
• Climb ladders to access tank trailers and farm tanks.
• Hook and unhook trucks and trailers; maintain communications with producers and customers.
• Represent DFA positively and professionally.

High school or equivalent

CDL A driving: 1 year (Required)
