Job summary

ABF Freight is seeking a dependable dock worker to perform pickup and delivery duties within the distribution center area. The role includes forklift operation, loading/unloading cargo, and ensuring accurate paperwork and logs. Scheduling varies by location and may include days, nights, or weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience; training possible for less.
• CDL Class-A with doubles/triples, tanker and hazmat endorsements required.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine paperwork and log loading sheets accurately.
• Assess trailer setup and teardown to optimize time, resources, and safety.
• Operate a forklift as needed and load/unload cargo.
• Perform tasks including check-in, tractor/trailer inspection, setup, and cargo delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.
