Performance Foodservice in Marshall, MN is seeking an entry-level Driver Trainee to learn and perform tractor-trailer deliveries intrastate and interstate on local routes. You'll train on safety, DOT regulations, and customer service while supporting our food distribution network.

Starting shift Monday–Friday with early hours, home daily, some layovers with hotel accommodations. Top performers can exceed $100k annually; sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A license.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current.
• Able to lift and move freight up to 60–90 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program as required.
• Ride-with and assist driver trainer in executing deliveries as required.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) including inspections of tractor/trailer to DOT standards; report issues.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; report hazards.
• Inspect trailer for proper loading; verify customer invoices and complete required paperwork.
• Drive to and deliver customer orders according to schedule.
• Unload products, transport to storage areas, verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures.
• Load returns and secure trailer; ensure equipment secured.
• Maintain daily hours-of-service logs per DOT and company requirements.
• Perform housekeeping and paperwork duties; finish shift securely.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
