Schneider is seeking an Intermodal truck driver to haul freight containers using company-owned chassis. You will operate 100% no-touch freight with 50% drop-and-hook within 125 miles of Chicago, IL.
Qualified candidates hold a valid CDL A, preferred HazMat and Tanker endorsements, and reside within 50 miles of Chicago or Elwood, IL with at least 3 months of CDL experience. Medical, dental, and vision insurance are provided along with a 401(k) and other driver benefits.
Intermodal truck driver
Average pay: $1,130-$1,380 weekly
Home time: Daily
Experience: 3 months or greater CDL experience
Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
100% no-touch freight that is 50% drop-and-hook.
Drive in and out of railyards within 125 miles of Chicago, IL.
Hourly pay and load pay.
Longevity bonus: Earn 3% of annual gross pay each year.
$5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
Paid orientation.
Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
Live within 50 miles of Chicago, IL or Elwood, IL.
Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.
