Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring a CDL-A delivery driver in Batesville, IN. This role offers a Home Daily schedule with Monday–Friday shifts and the potential to earn up to $90,000 per year.

You will operate tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering food and related products, while following DOT regulations and company safety guidelines. Includes pre/post trip inspections and proper paperwork completion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for the past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Able to lift 10–35 lbs and up to 60–90 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and coworkers professionally.
• Perform safety checks per DOT regulations and inspect equipment.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Report safety hazards and secure freight.
• Deliver orders on schedule and obtain customer signatures.
