Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) is seeking a CDL-A driver in Indiana to support food distribution nationwide. You will drive tractor trailers and straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering safely and on time while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Role requires 6+ months of CDL-A driving, a clean MVR, and compliance with DOT regulations. Expect night dispatch 11pm–4am and a $10,000 sign-on bonus with day-one benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Functions as a team member within the department and organization; perform duties to serve the company.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and inspects equipment.
• Reports all safety issues and repairs required.
• Follows all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Delivers and unloads customer orders according to route schedule.
• Verifies deliveries with customers and obtains signatures.
• Completes required paperwork accurately.
• Maintains cleanliness of tractor, trailer and loading docks.
• Records hours of service daily.
