Qualifications

• CDL-A license required with no restrictions.
• Experience operating heavy equipment used in derailment recovery.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot simple failures.
• Safety-conscious and able to work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee key equipment during derailment recovery, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• May perform labor duties as needed.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment.
• Perform advanced equipment maneuvers to lift, rerail, and stabilize derailed railcars.
• Perform preventative maintenance on heavy or specialized equipment.
• Maintain equipment appearance and cleanliness.
• Provide technical training and mentorship to operators I-III.
