R. J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Kansas City, Kansas. You will operate and oversee key equipment such as Sideboom, Track loader, Excavator, Vac Truck, and Grapple Truck during derailment recovery and related tasks.

Responsibilities include performing pre- and post-operation inspections, providing basic mechanical troubleshooting, and mentoring junior operators while ensuring safety and compliance with DOT regulations and site procedures.

Qualifications

• CDL-A Required with no restrictions.
• Previous experience operating heavy equipment.
• Proficient with at least one piece of Key Equipment.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot simple mechanical failures.

Responsabilités

• Operate and oversee equipment during derailment recovery.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure PPE compliance.
• Provide technical training and mentorship to operators I-III.
