Performance Foodservice is hiring a CDL-A Delivery Driver to support its food distribution network. The role involves early-morning dispatch, inter/intrastate routes, and unloading food and related products at customer sites.

Responsibilities include safety checks, DOT compliance, accurate paperwork, and customer interactions. Benefits start Day 1, with health, 401(k) matching, stock plan, and paid time off. Requires 12+ months driving and a valid CDL-A.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• DOT Health Card current or ability to secure one.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Ability to pass post-offer drug test and road test.

Responsabilidades

• Perform safety checks including pre/post trip inspections per DOT regulations.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Inspect trailer for proper loading and secured freight.
• Check customer invoices and complete required paperwork legibly.
• Deliver and unload products to customers according to schedule, obtain signatures.
• Securely park and lock tractor/trailer and secure freight.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs and maintain clean work areas.
