Performance Foodservice, a broadline distributor, seeks a CDL-A driver to deliver food and related products across intrastate and interstate routes. The role emphasizes safe, timely delivery, customer interaction, and adherence to DOT regulations.

The position includes early dispatch hours (3AM–5AM) with a six-day workweek, competitive pay, and benefits starting Day 1. Priorities include safety, accuracy in loading/unloading, and documentation compliance.

Formación

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.

Responsabilidades

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and ensure tractor/trailer meets safety standards.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines and policies.
• Report safety hazards immediately and inspect for proper freight loading and security.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly for all freight.
• Drive to deliver orders according to route schedule and unload at customer sites.
• Obtain customer signatures and collect payment where required; secure all equipment after trips.
• Maintain daily hours-of-service records per Federal DOT and company rules.
• Perform general housekeeping in tractor and loading dock area; close out shift with proper paperwork.
