Performance Foodservice in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ is seeking CDL-A delivery drivers to operate tractor trailers and straight trucks, delivering and unloading food products to customers with DOT compliance. You will interact with customers, maintain safety standards, and work a schedule including early morning shifts, Monday through Saturday with Sundays off.

Requirements include 21+ years of age, a valid CDL-A, 12+ months driving experience, and a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean MVR for past 3 years; pass post offer drug test and road test; DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.

Responsabilités

• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and ensures vehicle safety standards.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Inspects trailer for proper load and security of freight.
• Delivers customer orders according to route schedule and unloads items.
• Obtains customer signatures and collects payments where required.
• Loads returns and secures trailer doors; ensures equipment and freight are secured.
