Job summary

Pepsi Beverages North America (PBNA) is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair PepsiCo's extensive fleet across North America. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs with a strong emphasis on safety, using leading diagnostic tools and voice-assisted PM programs.

You will work largely independently yet receive coaching as needed, with opportunities to grow your mechanical skills across a wide range of equipment, including trucks and forklifts, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have own basic hand tools; diagnostic and high-tech tools will be provided.
• At least 21 years of age and valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status.
• Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test; forklift test if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and repairs with a high degree of independence.
• Utilize advanced tech and programs for PM and diagnostics.
• Work on Pepsi's diverse fleet: autos, light/ heavy trucks, vans, forklifts.
• Diagnose vehicle failures; disassemble, repair and reassemble parts as needed.
• Maintain documentation and records including vehicle records and pre-trip checklists.
• Respond to service calls and contribute to keeping one of the largest fleets in North America operational.
