Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain a clean driver’s record and focus on safety.
• Ability to work safely and wear required PPE and follow safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Secure materials by chaining, strapping, and blocking under procedures.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections; inspect the truck for defects and safe operating conditions.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicle.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance such as adding oil, fuel, and radiator fluid.
• Complete DOT-required drivers' daily log and trip sheets accurately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
