Job summary

Alamo Structural Steel, LLC in Central Texas is seeking a professional Driver to safely transport structural steel materials to job sites. You will ensure proper loading, securing, and compliance with DOT regulations, while maintaining a clean driving record and safe operations.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL with manual transmission, DOT physical and drug screening, and at least 2 years of tractor-trailer experience on flatbeds.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with manual transmission.
• DOT medical card and drug screening.
• 2 years tractor-trailer experience on flatbed.
• Clean driving record, no major violations in 3 years.
• No road preventable accidents in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Secure materials using chains, straps, and blocking.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance as needed.
• Complete DOT logs and trip sheets accurately.
• Other duties as assigned.
