Job summary

Steel and Pipe Supply is seeking a CDL Driver to safely operate flatbed equipment and transport goods to customers. The role involves securing loads, preparing accurate paperwork, and maintaining compliance with DoT requirements.

You will communicate with supervisors and customers, report incidents, and help maintain equipment and records on a daily basis. The position requires 2+ years of driving experience, including 1 year with flatbeds, a valid CDL with endorsements, and a current medical

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements and medical card.
• Minimum 2 years driving experience, 1 year flatbed.
• MVR in good standing.
• Able to load/unload and secure heavy/oversized loads.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer safely.
• Secure cargo with straps and chains to prevent shifting.
• Complete shipping and delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
• Comply with all transportation regulations.
• Report accidents or safety violations promptly.
• Maintain communication with supervisor, sales and customers.
