Triple-S Steel is seeking a CDL A driver with at least 2 years of flatbed experience to join our team in the United States. The role requires securing loads, performing pre-trip and post-trip checks, and maintaining logs in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years Class A experience.
• No major moving violations in the last 2 years.
• Minimum of 2 years flatbed experience on 48'-53' trailers.
• Experience securing all types of flatbed freight with chains, binders, and straps.

Responsibilities

• Read bills of lading to determine assignment details.
• Inspect loads for safety and notify if reloading is needed.
• Inventory and inspect goods for quantity and condition.
• Secure cargo using chains, binders, or tarps.
• Follow safety procedures for oversized loads.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions.
• Operate cab computers, CB radios, GPS to communicate with bases.
• Check load-related documentation for accuracy.
• Couple/uncouple trailers and manage connections.
• Inspect trailers after unloading for damage.
• Ensure vehicle safety equipment is in good order.
• Report vehicle issues and incidents.
• Maintain logs of hours and vehicle service.
• Perform basic maintenance like checking fluids.
• Obtain receipts and signatures for deliveries.
