Job summary

Perdue Transportation Incorporated (PTI) is seeking a dedicated Feed Delivery Driver. You will safely load and deliver feed to assigned customers, working closely with dispatch to meet daily priorities and maintain accurate records.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, verify weights, and assist with loading/unloading while adhering to DOT requirements and safety protocols. This role supports Perdue Farms' feed operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Class A CDL required.
• 2+ years CDL-A driving experience, preferably delivering feed.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of feed according to dispatcher scheduling.
• Perform a pre-trip truck inspection according to a DOT sheet, reporting any deficiencies.
• Ensure the correct weight of feed is loaded into the truck and delivered to farms.
• Operate boom to direct feed into holding bins without spills and report issues.
• Maintain records of fuel purchases, trip tickets, logs and time sheets.
• May need to climb trucks and use a sledgehammer to free jams as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
