Job summary

Perdue Transportation Incorporated (PTI) seeks a Regional Driver to keep our transportation network moving across the region. You will operate a tractor-trailer to safely pick up and deliver freight between company and customer locations, supporting drop-and-hook and live load/unload operations.

You will be a safety-minded professional who represents the Perdue Farms brand on the road, travel away from home as needed, and help maintain reliable delivery schedules while complying with DOT

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years over the road tractor/trailer experience; refrigerated trailers preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL license.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver and deliver/backhaul truckloads to plants, customers, and distributors.
• Observe DOT hours of service, logbook, vehicle inspections, load inspections, and securing load.
• Use electronic logging device and on-board tracking systems.
• Operate a tractor-trailer legally and safely per laws and company policies.
• Complete and submit manifest, bill of lading, pay envelopes, and trip reports.
• Assist with loading/unloading and ensure trailer security.
