Job summary

Perdue Farms seeks a Feed Delivery Driver to load and deliver feed to assigned customers and coordinate with dispatch to meet daily priorities. A Class A CDL and 2+ years of CDL-A driving are required. High school diploma or equivalent; reading, writing and math skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of feed according to dispatcher scheduling.
• Perform a pre-trip truck inspection according to a DOT sheet, reporting any deficiencies.
• Ensure correct weight of feed is loaded and delivered to farm locations.
• Accurately operate loading equipment and report spills or problems.
• Maintain fuel receipts, trip tickets, daily logs and time sheets.
