Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling is hiring a Non-CDL Box Truck Driver in Baytown, TX. You will pick up used tires from major stores, loading them with a Route Helper and transporting them to our facility. Expect early starts, overtime, and potential overnight work during peak season.

The role requires a clean driving record, an acceptable MVR, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior driving experience is preferred; background and drug tests are required after an offer.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have and maintain acceptable MVR.
• Minimum 1 year of driving experience or equivalent military experience.
• Must pass post-offer background and drug test.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as needed and some on Holiday’s.
• Must be willing to start at 6:00 AM on most days and the ending time for the day depends on your daily route.
• Must be willing to load and lace the tires into the trailers.
• Must be willing to always be professional at our tire stores.
• Possible overnight work during peak season.

Responsibilities

• Go out to main stores to pick up used tires with a Route Helper.
• Manually load and stack tires onto the back of the trucks (each tire up to 50 lbs).
• Maintain professional conduct at tire stores during routes.
• Be flexible with overtime, Saturdays, and occasional overnight work during peak season.
