McLane is hiring a Trainee Component Driver to learn essential distribution duties and grow into a Driver role. The position offers hands-on exposure to warehouse and transportation operations, with a developmental pathway and competitive benefits.

Orientation pays $18.00/hour for 2 days; after training, pay rises to $28.50/hour. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA, life insurance, and more.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess a Class A CDL.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Read and comprehend labels, instructions, and bills of lading.
• Willing to load/unload and deliver ALL products ordered by McLane customers.

Responsabilidades

• Maneuver tractor into position to attach trailer and secure lines.
• Operate truck safely in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and report.
• Use DDH to document delivery receipts and temperatures.
• Train with Driver Trainer on maneuvers and regulations.
• Maintain driver logs per DOT regulations.
• Assist the Driver in unloading and delivering product to customer sites.
• Provide on-time delivery and customer service.
