Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• At least 1 year of related driving experience.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license for at least 12 months.
• Attend CDL-A training to obtain a permit and complete endorsements within 90 days.
• Pass TSA background check by the second week of class.
• Maintain a clean driving record and pass DOT drug tests.
• Pass company-paid DOT physical and related pre-hire tests.
• Able to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Attend training sessions to obtain a CDL-A.
• Gain on-the-job experience as an LTL Driver.
• Perform vehicle inspections under FMCSR (DOT).
• Maintain records per FMCSR, DOT and company policies.
• Load and unload freight using a forklift as needed (touch freight).
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Adhere to company safety policies.
• Maintain contact with service center personnel in a fast-paced environment.
