Job summary

All Roads Kenworth - Ft. Lauderdale is seeking a part-time CDL A/B driver with manual endorsement and mechanical aptitude to test-drive trucks serviced by our technicians. The role requires clear communication of mechanical issues and daily operation of a manual transmission.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of driving experience, a clean record, and a valid CDL A or B. Compensation is $20/hour, with benefits and a DOT-compliant workplace in Fort Lauderdale.

Qualifications

• CDL A or CDL B with manual endorsement required.
• Minimum 5 years of driving experience.
• Ability to discuss mechanical issues with technicians clearly.
• Daily operation of a manual transmission.

Responsibilities

• Observe and follow safety procedures and DOT regulations.
• Communicate effectively with technicians about mechanical issues.
• Provide accurate service to customers with pick up and deliveries as needed.
• General shop assistance, clean up as needed.
• Remain alert while operating the vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with employees and customers.
• All other duties as assigned.
