Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and deliver reliable waste removal services. You will ensure compliance with safety standards, complete daily vehicle condition reports, and service each customer as assigned on your route.

The role requires a Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement, a strong focus on safety, and dependable time management to meet productivity goals while upholding professional customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver's license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a collection truck on assigned routes and service customers promptly.
• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections and complete VCRs daily.
• Load refuse, operate compactor, and dispose of material at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers per procedures.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and cleanliness; monitor waste for unacceptable material.
• Complete productivity sheets and reports; adhere to safety policies.
