Job summary

QXO is hiring a professional CDL-A driver to support our growing building products distribution and installation network. You will perform touch freight, inspect and load shipments, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining strict safety standards.

Qualified candidates have at least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience, a valid Class A CDL, and the ability to operate heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE
