Job summary

The candidate should have a valid Class A CDL, at least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience, and be capable of operating heavy equipment while maintaining open communication with dispatchers to guarantee on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load.
• Notify branch management of potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe loading/unloading environment.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and wear PPE.
