Job summary

Republic Services in Kalamazoo, MI seeks a CDL (A) Driver to safely operate heavy trucks and perform timely refuse collection and disposal along assigned routes. You will conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain route productivity while delivering courteous service to customers.

This role requires a Class A CDL with air brakes and at least two years of commercial driving experience. You will interact with dispatchers, complete required reports, and participate in safety programs.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior experience driving commercial trucks.
• Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle.
• Safely operate heavy trucks along designated routes for disposal of waste.
• Interact with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
• Perform minor repairs to containers on site or in yard.
• Complete route productivity sheets and required reports.
• Follow safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
