Job summary

Republic Services invites applications for a Driver- CDL (B) position in Michigan. The role involves safely operating a collection truck, ensuring vehicle readiness, and complying with safety and regulatory standards.

Daily duties include loading refuse, servicing customers along assigned routes, and maintaining accurate reports. Applicants should hold a Class B CDL with air brakes, demonstrate safety discipline, and provide reliable, courteous service to customers while meeting productivity

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement required.
• Ability to safely operate a heavy truck and follow safety policies.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and dispatchers.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections per policy.
• Safely operate truck on designated routes and service customers as directed.
• Load refuse using packer/controls and dispose at designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers daily.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag per procedures.
• Complete route, productivity sheets and VCRs as required.
