Performance Foodservice is hiring a CDL-A delivery driver in the Richmond, VA area. The role involves delivering food and related products, maintaining safety and DOT compliance, and building customer relationships.

The position requires 12+ months of commercial driving, a clean MVR, and the ability to lift heavy loads. A sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 is available based on experience.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license and clean MVR history.
• Minimum 12 months commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure.
• Able to lift 50–90 lbs and operate equipment.
• Must pass road test.

Responsibilities

• Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally.
• Performs safety checks including DOT inspections and ensures compliance with safety standards.
• Drives to and delivers customer orders according to route schedule.
• Unloads products and secures items at customer locations.
• Completes daily hours-of-service logs as required by DOT and company policies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
