Performance Foodservice is seeking CDL A drivers to support daily food distribution across intrastate and interstate routes. You will engage customers, handle deliveries, and maintain safety and accuracy of loads while meeting delivery schedules.

The role requires a valid CDL A, a clean driving record, and compliance with DOT regulations. Competitive pay, benefits, and a sign-on bonus are offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Valid CDL A.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to obtain one.
• Able to lift and move heavy freight as required.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes.
• Deliver and unload food products to customers on schedule.
• Inspect vehicle and trailers for safety and report repairs.
• Obtain customer signatures and manage delivery paperwork.
• Ensure cargo is secured and loads are accurate.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
