Job summary

Vistar in Phoenix, AZ seeks an experienced CDL-A Driver to support America’s food distribution system. You will drive a tractor or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring timely delivery and professional customer interactions.

You will perform safety checks, comply with DOT regulations, and maintain accurate records. The role emphasizes weekend home time, early departures at 2am or 4am, and an hourly pay structure with full benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience required.
• Valid CDL-A license required; must be 21+.
• DOT Health Card current or able to obtain.
• MVR clean for past 3 years; post-offer drug test and background check.
• Able to pass road test and security checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Drive tractor/trailer as per schedule and routes.
• Deliver and unload goods to customers on time and in good condition.
• Inspect and secure freight; complete all required paperwork.
• Communicate with customers and team to ensure smooth operations.
