Job summary

Vistar is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to operate a tractor trailer or straight truck across intrastate and interstate routes. You will deliver and unload food and related products to customers, complying with DOT regulations and safety standards.

Most routes are drop-and-go with electric pallet jacks and 80% pallet drop deliveries. Starting rate $30.90 per hour, quarterly safety bonuses, full benefits from Day 1, paid time off, and opportunities for regional overnight work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1 year commercial driving experience preferred.
• Experience in foodservice distribution helpful.
• Experience with onboard computer and electronic logs (PeopleNet).
• Customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailer or straight truck per DOT rules and company policy.
• Deliver and unload food products safely, on time, and in good condition.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and maintain accurate records.
• Interact professionally with customers and co-workers.
