Job summary

Vistar, a leading food distribution company, is hiring a CDL-B Driver to deliver food and related products. You will operate tractor-trailer or straight trucks across intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring on-time delivery and proper unloading at customer sites.

The role requires safety-conscious driving, ability to lift up to 90 pounds, and compliance with DOT regulations. Day 1 benefits and merit-based increases accompany a comprehensive compensation package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL-B license.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• Pass road test.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Deliver and unload food products to customers on schedule.
• Inspect and secure loads and paperwork accurately.
• Obtain customer signatures and collect payments when required.
• Keep vehicle and loading dock area clean and organized.
• Maintain daily hours-of-service logs per regulations.
