Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in Joliet, IL is looking for CDL-A drivers to join a Midwest regional fleet. You will start with trainer support, drive dry van routes across IL, IN, OH, MI and KY, and enjoy weekly pay during training with home weekends after solo dispatch.

Pay ranges from $1,000 to $1,700 per week with stop pay. Health and retirement benefits follow a 30-day eligibility, plus orientation pay and pet riders are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL.
• New CDL holders: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• Valid license in your state of residence and verifiable work history for past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years, no major preventable accidents in 5 years, no DUI/DWI in 5–10 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.
• Live within 100 miles of Gary, IN.
